Andrew G. Bluhm
Andy is the founder and managing principal of Delaware Street Capital, hedge fund based out of Chicago and manages $750 Million in assets. He also serves as a director of HFA Holdings, a $7 billion fund of funds operating primarily under the Lighthouse brand. Previously, he was a partner and founder of Walton Street Capital, a multi-billion dollar private equity real estate fund, where he was a key acquisition partner and directly responsible for approximately $1.3 billion of transactions. Andy is extremely passionate about education and reform and through his fund has invested in several edtech companies and is also the co-founder of classroom data management company, Otus. Andy received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. magna cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
David R. Nietfeldt
David serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Delaware Street Capital. He was previously an audit senior manager with Ernst & Young LLP’s Chicago and Grand Cayman offices and was focused within the asset management space. He graduated cum laude from Augustana College (Rock Island, IL) with a B.A. in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the Illinois CPA Society.
Patrick is the President of FACTS Education Solutions, a part of Nelnet, Inc and an educational services provider for students and educators. Prior to becoming the President of FACTS Education Solutions, he was a high school principal, a K-12 school system president and superintendent of the Catholic Dioceses of Montana, followed by superintendent of the Archdiocese of Seattle, where he provided guidance to 74 schools and represented 22,000 students throughout Western Washington. While refining his teaching skill set, he continued to pursue advanced education, earning both his masters and doctoral degrees.
John served as President & COO of Research Now Group, the global leader in digital data collection for market analytics. From co-founding the company and leading it through its various stages of growth and ultimately selling it to a private equity firm for over $600 million, John has influenced every aspect of a company’s life cycle. He currently serves as a board member or advisory board member of Readers Legacy, a social commerce platform for readers and authors; Peloton Aerospace, a parts distribution rollup; and Deep Cognition, an AI platform company. John is also a Past President and serves on the Executive Board of a not-for-profit organization providing free eye-related medical services to residents of Mombasa, Kenya. Additionally, John has served as an executive and advisor to early-stage companies, where he helped establish strategy, secure venture funding and institute governance structures that positioned these startups for growth and success.
