A typical class

Small groups of up to 15 students sit in clustered groups with their LIVE teacher visible on screen at the front of the classroom. Students raise their hands, ask questions, and engage with their teacher and other students, just like a regular classroom!

Lessons utilize engagement tools like polls, chats, and interactive whiteboards, with frequent checks for understanding so teachers can adjust pacing in real time.

Your provided paraprofessional, or Classroom Coach as we call them, provides on-the-ground support and classroom management.

Supplemental Live FAQs

Supplemental LIVE is a small-group instructional program that provides additional support in core subjects for students performing at or below grade level. These non-credit-bearing classes are taught by certified teachers and are designed to reinforce foundational skills and boost confidence—without overburdening on-site staff.

Instruction can follow Elevate’s adapted content or your district’s curriculum, and all sessions are supplemented and enhanced with content and interactive tools from Nearpod. Custom learning sequences can also be created to meet the specific needs of your students.

Each Supplemental LIVE class can support up to 15 students with similar skill levels in a shared subject area, allowing for focused, small-group instruction.

Supplemental LIVE offers flexible scheduling. Classes can take place before, during, or after the school day and can be delivered between 2 to 5 days per week, with each session lasting 30 to 90 minutes.

All teachers are U.S.-certified and experts in their subject area. Supplemental LIVE teachers receive the same rigorous onboarding and coaching as all Elevate LIVE educators.

No. Supplemental LIVE is not an intervention program and does not include progress monitoring, 504/MTSS tracking, or growth reporting toward intervention goals. It is designed to provide additional instruction—not intensive remediation or special education services.

Most Supplemental LIVE programs can be launched within 2–3 weeks, depending on timely receipt of district deliverables. Our team will guide you through the setup process to ensure a smooth and efficient start.
