How it works

Pick the Elevate K-12 summer school classes that best meet your students’ needs; academic, enrichment, or both! Select the session length that works best for your school’s schedule. Decide if you want to use Elevate’s content or your district-adopted curriculum, along with any other integrations with your schools systems.

We’ll take care of finding you the best-fit certified teachers, then train and onboard them to make sure they’re ready to teach on day one. We’ll work together to make sure your Live teachers have access to any necessary systems so your Elevate classes can run as smoothly as your brick-and-mortar classrooms.

When students enter their classroom, they’ll see their Elevate LIVE teacher on a large screen at the front of the class. An in-person Classroom Coach will circulate to support students as needed. Students raise their hands, ask questions, and engage with their teacher and peers, just like a regular class!

Summer School Live FAQs

Summer School LIVE is a flexible, LIVE teaching program designed to support both credit recovery and enrichment during the summer months. Schools can choose from core academic courses or enrichment offerings to help students catch up, keep up, or get ahead—while keeping them engaged and learning beyond the regular school year. All Summer School LIVE classes are taught by our remarkable, U.S.-certified LIVE teachers, who receive the same training, coaching, and professional development as our year-round educators. 

Summer School LIVE is available throughout the summer and can be customized to align with your district’s preferred start date and session length (from 4-6 weeks). You choose the schedule that works best for your students and staff, with customizable period lengths and frequencies. 

Summer School LIVE classes follow either Elevate-developed content, your district-adopted curriculum, or content powered by our partners at CodeHS and Nearpod. All courses are enhanced and supplemented by resources from Nearpod.

Classes can be scheduled before, during, or after the school day—giving schools flexibility to meet students’ needs without disrupting existing schedules. Lighter-demand courses like ACT/SAT prep or World Languages can run once or twice a week, while others can follow your standard elective schedule.
